I am not familiar with the xv API bit does mplayer expect the driver to do the scaling when called with -fs? Maybe one could make mplayer do the scaling beforehand. When I first started MythTV I had a bar of - let's say - 20 pixel height at the bottom of the screen that still showed the desktop background while Myth was running full screen. Once Myth is started, when you move around in the menus, menu items that arent't currenty highlighted, often get the same amount of pixel height not redrawn properly (I am using the blue theme). > > Thanks > > John You're welcome.
