It would normally get these by loading the fb & Shadow
devices.
These would normally come from the X11 drivers
directory.
(Sorry being very vague since i'm at work).
Normally you would load ivtvdev_drv.o from somewhere
like
/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/ivtvdev_drv.o
and then in your xorg.log you would see something like
(II) Loading sub module "fb"
(II) LoadModule: "fb"
(II) Loading /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/libfb.a
At the top of the xorg.log you should see something
like
(**) ModulePath set to
"/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/nvidia,/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions,/usr/X11R6/lib/modules,/usr/X11R6/lib/modules"
which should show you where it's looking for modules.
The libfb.a and libshadow.a will probably need to
exist in the directories referenced by your system or
change xorg.conf to point at the place where they
exist.
I believe this is controlled by a section in the
xorg.conf that looks something like
Section "Files"
# RgbPath is the location of the RGB database. Note,
this is the name of the
# file minus the extension (like ".txt" or ".db").
There is normally
# no need to change the default.
# Multiple FontPath entries are allowed (they are
concatenated together)
# By default, Red Hat 6.0 and later now use a font
server independent of
# the X server to render fonts.
RgbPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/rgb"
ModulePath
"/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/nvidia"
ModulePath "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions"
ModulePath "/usr/X11R6/lib/modules"
FontPath "unix/:7100"
EndSection
Hope this helps
