Here I find the audio to snap crackle and pop when using options tda9887 qss=0, and there to be no audio at all when not using it. Was previously using 0.3.4y where audio was reasonable using qss=0 (although there were occasional short periods of heavy static in the audio channel). I also upgraded audio firmware (without making a backup :-/).
