I've got some bad news for you Jerry, I didn't have a problem at all
under Ubuntu AMD64. I have a fresh install of Ubuntu 5.02. I followed
my own guide from the Wiki:
http://ivtv.writeme.ch/tiki-index.php?page=KubuntuHowTo
I didn't add any module options, but I did remove all the conflicting
modules listed during `make install`. After the modprobe, I just cat
/dev/video0 > test.mpg, let it run for a minute, then played the file.
I'm using the newest firmware from Haupauge's site. Here's my dmesg,
and I can give you more info if you want to get in touch with me off-list.

Oh that's right, you were the one with the
firmware load problem. I
run ubuntu with the 686 version of that same kernel,
with the exact same
PVR-150 card.
