I have a pvr-350 and pvr-150 with ivtv0.3.6j. It's a crap shoot every time I reboot whether or not the 150 will get audio from the tuner. It's true I've been pretty active with new versions of ivtv but this is twice in the last week that I've gotten a no sound recording and when I tested /dev/video1 there was no sound. Each time a reboot resolved the problem. I'm still getting VBI messages and I just got a waiting for firmware even when I disabled it in mythtv-setup and via ivtvctl (see earlier posts).

I'm also getting the following which sometimes recovers by itself but usually causes a serious crash. This seems to always be happening because of or in conjunction with the "ice1724: Invalid EEPROM version 1" kernel warning which is my audio card (chaintech av710) driver.
