I'm running ivtv 0.3.6g on a Gentoo system with kernel 2.6.10, a
PVR-350, and MythTV 0.18.1.
I have a few questions:
1. If I want to use closed captioning (assuming it works), do I need to
set the -x and -b options manually, or does MythTV set those for me when
I specify NTSC closed captioning in mythtv-setup? Is cc supposed to work
with this version of the driver and a PVR-350 (it doesn't for me)?
2. I can set the vbi mode and turn on vbi embedding by putting the
appropriate options in my /etc/modules.d/ivtv file, but when I try to
set the output to '-l 2' via the same file it always comes up with 0
instead after a reboot. I can then set it manually via ivtvctl, but I'd
like it come up that way. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a Gentoo
issue?
Thanks for any input...
Daniel
