I had the same DMA_ERRs with the V0.3.6l so I don't have reason to believe
this would help any.

Well the good news is that your cx25840 looks much
happier. I don't know why you're still getting DMA errors
though. Have you tried a more recent version of the driver
yet? I know there have been a couple changes to the DMA code since
3.5.l, but I'm not sure if they address your issue.
