Nick,
Would you do me a favor and try something? I'm wondering if I have the
setup code flipfloped. The cx25840ctl diffs don't show that ACFG being
on has done anything (that we know about anyway), so I'm really
scratching my head. Try putting the ACFG_DIS(0x01) back in, but then go
a few more lines down (19 lines actually) and change
if (is_secam) {
to
if (!is_secam) {
(add an exclamation point there)
Compile it up, install and load. If you still get DDoubleVision(tm),
I'm going to recommend that we remove the line you've been commenting
out. I added it to match the windows driver, but didn't think it would
hurt anything.

until Bryan or Chris can investigate this in depth, just remove the
CX25840_SET_ACFG_DIS(0x01);
line from the cx25840-driver.c file and recompile the driver. That's
how I'm running 0.3.6p at the moment. Driver works like a charm.
