Hello, Yesterday I wrote a messge about how capturing with my new pvr-500 crashed the computer after abour 4 seconds. I have moved the card to a different computer with another motherboard, and here it catpures without crashing. Could this be some kind of DMA problem on the machine that doesn't work and is there a way to debug this?
Anyway, now that this pvr-500 is capturing, it captures images bu no sound. What I try is: modprobe ivtv ./ivtvctl -d /dev/video0 -p 7 ./ivtvctl -d /dev/video0 -r 3456 (216000) cat /dev/video0 >test.mpg As far as I can tell everything loads fine. I've tried with 0.3.5. and 0.3.6W with identical results. log output is: ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== ivtv: version 0.3.5 () loading ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.11.4 K7
