cleanly against it.

On linux 2.6.11 this does not compile.

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I just rebuild my patched
ivtv-0.3.6w source tree against a freshly extracted vanilla 2.6.11 source
tree. It compiled fine.

On the off chance my ivtv-0.3.6v patch was somehow wonky, I've
recreated a clean patch against the ivtv-0.3.6w:
