In your posted log you somehow pull in both the saa7xxx drivers; do you 
forceload them or are they pulled
In by ivtv ? Are they needed at all with the cx driver? In README.cx25840 it 
says:

The cx25480 must be disabled for PVR350 cards. and saa7127 support must be 
disabled for PVR150/500 cards
(it seems you have sound working with at least several trains from ivtv-0.3.* 
whereas I have yet to find one to give me 
any sound at all on pvr500 with PAL – from earlier postings you’ve had a combat 
with pvr500 & sound on
many ocassions ☺ )

Even the earlier 0.3.3k now won’t accept the (now gone?) parameter audiofmt=…

0.3.6u won’t do give me sound either, and many of the options like ‘debug=1’ 
won’t work for any of
the submodules in the present devel releases either (references in the 
README’s,  but gone?)
