I've been running 0.3.2h with my pvr-150 NTSC retail edition for some months now with pretty good success. I'm running mythtv 0.17 on Debian. Unfortunately, sometimes the audio has an annoying high-pitched whine to it. It can last for an hour or two on a given channel, and happens on various channels.
I upgraded my firmware to the latest betas from the Hauppauge site around June 18. That had no noticeable good or bad effects. Also around that time I tried running 0.3.6o. It ran ok, except for audio stuttering in live TV. About 1 or 2 seconds after I have video and audio on the new channel, the audio stutters slightly. Then at other random times from 5 to 20 second intervals it stutters too. The stuttering seems to correspond to large changes in the video frame. For example, when a black screen between a commercial and the return to the show occurs, an audio stutter follows. I reverted to 0.3.2h and it is hit or miss if my recordings have a whine. Tonight I tried 0.3.6x and am seeing the same stuttering issue with 0.3.6o. Just thought I'd let the gurus know. -Rob -- Robert W.
