With some educated guesses and a lot of hard work I managed to get sliced VBI
working with the cx25840 (PVR-150/500). However, it's going to be quite a job
to implement it properly: the data format of sliced VBI from the cx25840 is
completely different from the saa7115 (PVR350).
I'm not yet certain how I'm going to do this. There is also some other ivtv
work that I want to do, so I may push this back a bit.
Oh, and for those who are wondering what the big deal is: with this feature it
is possible to also record things like closed captions, teletext and wide
screen signals.
