I tried the latest from subversion (2660) and I still have no audio. 
I'll insert the various pieces to see if someone can make sense of it. 

I'm using kernel 2.6.12-1.1447_FC4, with the stock modules for
msp3400.ko  tda9887.ko  tuner.ko  tveeprom.ko removed.
/lib/modules has the the firmware from the atrpms packages.  I rebooted,
and I can get great video, but no audio still.
