Hello again,

I've had another problem that's been bugging me for a while now (since
i've moved to 0.3.x actually), and have been for about a week trying to
determine whether if it was mythtv or ivtv that was the issue.

Whenever I play back something that mythtv records and auto transcodes
to mpeg4 - the audio would randomly just cut out and become "crackly".
Fast forwarding and rewinding back restores the audio back to normal
right away.

Now I believe I've tried every imaginable option and combinations of
options in mythtv that I think would affect this but I can't seem to do
anything to fix it. Playing mpeg4,divx,xvid files from other sources
using mythtv's internal player does not have this problem, which is why
I was suspecting mythtv and not the driver originally, but since I think
I've tried tweaking every available mythtv setting, I decided to try
throwing this out here.

Anyone have or seen this problem?

Grant

PS. I'm using a pvr350, celeron D 2.4ghz, 384mb ram - with the latest
xdriver and ivtv from svn at the time of writing this.
