All right. Lirc works. fb works. (I think) and tv-out works. I can wait for tuner.o for a while.
How do I keep ivtv-fb from eating my consoles? I found that "video=vc:64-64" thing that I am supposed to place in the grub.conf file. Unfortunately that file does not exist, I am not sure where to place it and how to reconfigure grub to use it.
