Hey Everyone.

I have been talking with Hans about this one, as well as Mark Weaver, and i just can not figure it out.

Basically this is my setup and the problem im having.

I have a slave backend server with 1 pvr150 connected via Svideo to a Digital Cable Box, the audio of course is comming through the onboard audio in on the pvr150. i am using the ir receiver to be used for the remote, and the blaster to be the channel changer on the Digital Cable Box.

The video portion look amazing, very clean picture, works quite well. The audio on the other hand is kinda crappy. if im watching tv (using mythtv) it sounds fuzzy, then ill switch channels and it sounds clear, switch channels again and its fuzzy once more. i have a capture that i did directly from /dev/video0 located here, there are 4 samples, that i did in a row, you can tell 2 are clear, and 2 are fuzzy.

one thing that may be noted is, when im watching tv (through mythtv) and i first start watching it, if the audio does sound bad, i can shell in and run #ivtvctrl -q1 and it cleans it up for the whole session of watching tv, until i exit out and then go back in to watching tv.

here is my dmesg for the ivtv points
