Yargh, after a cold boot I get the same error.  Hoping that redundancy in this case might not be bad, I then copied the firmware files to the first directory listed in my firmware.agent file (/lib/firmware).

I've verified using a text editor that the file is named correctly (v4l-cx2341x-enc.fw) but I still get the same line within my ivtv INIT section of syslog.  Does anyone have any other ideas?  Perhaps it is still related to the typo, but I'm at a loss!
