Where is your firmware installed in the file system? I notice you're using 
Fedora Core--did you get the firmware from atrpms? The firmware needs to be 
located where the firmware hotplug agent will find it--this is usually one 
of:

/lib/firmware
/usr/lib/firmware
/lib/hotplug/firmware
/usr/lib/hotplug/firmware

Looking at the firmware.agent script will tell you where it's looking. That's 
either located at /etc/hotplug or /lib/udev, depending on your system setup.
