Hello. I'm an old hand at Linux but recently I made a newbie mistake in that I bought hardware for a media PC project before checking to see if the drivers for that hardware were available.
Please make my day and tell me that I can get the ivtv drivers to run on an AMDx86_64 bit machine with an appropriate 64 bit kernel. Otherwise I'll have to find a new use for all this power and start building a new 32 bit box. :-| Jim C.
