I just tried that and it worked great however picture in picture did not work 
but
that may be a setup issue with myth since I had to make changes to move from 
4.5 to
6.

Attached is a gentoo ebiuld for 6.1. I did not test the code that detects 
whether
you are running a valid kernel or not so the ebuild may succeed for an invalid
kernel (anything other than 2,6.16)...
