Jim,

I have a PVR 500, and I'm running ivtv 4.5. I've upgraded the firmware 
and I still have a problem (Though the firmware upgrade did lessen the 
problem). ivtvctl -q0 fixes it everytime. I can't really rely on brute 
forcing that though because sometimes I'll be recording input from my RCAs.
