Hi guys, I think I'm experiencing the same problem. It locks up pretty much every time with kernel 2.6.17.6 and ivtv 0.7.0.
Using the magic sysrq to change the loglevel, I've captured the following bit of output: [17179586.736000] ivtv: ==================== START INIT IVTV ==================== [17179586.736000] ivtv: version 0.7.0 (tagged release) loading [17179586.736000] ivtv: Linux version: 2.6.17.6 mod_unload PENTIUMIII gcc-3.4 [17179586.736000] ivtv: In case of problems please include the debug info between [17179586.736000] ivtv: the START INIT IVTV and END INIT IVTV lines, along with [17179586.736000] ivtv: any module options, when mailing the ivtv-users mailinglist.
