2nd command

linux-3l0w:~ # ivtv-tune -c4
/dev/video0: 67.250 MHz

3rd command..........  and yes, i can view the output of this one with mplayer...... but its just a bunch of black and white static reminiscent of the pre-cable broadcast tv era  lol...
  what do you think?

im getting one error above, saying  "ioctl VIDIOC_G_OUTPUT failed: Invalid argument"     any clues there?    thanks again..

linux-3l0w:~ # cat /dev/video >test.mpg

linux-3l0w:~ # cat /dev/video >test.mpg

linux-3l0w:~ # cat /dev/video0 >test.mpg

Looks to me like it's loaded ok.

what happens if you do
ivtvctl -a
ivtv-tune -c4

if you do a 'cat /dev/video >test.mpg' does it create a file? cat you view
it with mplayer?
