I've installed version 0.7.0 of ivtv on kernel 2.6.17. I'm able to capture video, but without sound. When running ivtvctl -all mute is always equal "1". Setting the param to "0" has no effect. Also, I've noticed in the log that I'm unable to load the firmware v4l-cx25840.fw. I've followed the firmware instructions at [http://ivtvdriver.org/index.php/Firmware] with no effect. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
