Try giving your PATA/IDE controller(s) a higher latency and see if this helps. It could be the controller is not able to keep up with the data that the pvr card generates. I would leave the rest of the system at 64 and put the PATA/IDE controllers at 96. SATA controllers usually are hooked up to the PCIe bus where latency does not exist in this form.
