I would be interested in the tweaks you used to get it to work as I have been
unable to do so myself. Is your TV Out in NTSC?
So after the boot I do:
modprobe ivtv-fb osd_compat=1
rmmod saa7127
modprobe saa7127 test_image=1
However, all I get on the TV is a couple thin diagonal lines that move around.
To me it looks very much like the PVR is outputing NTSC instead of SECAM-L (I'm
in France) or PAL (which I think would work too).
In the distant past there used to be ivtvfbctl commands to set the output mode
but this seems to have changed quite a bit (and become more automatic which is
good). v4l2-ctl has a --set-standard option, however it does not seem to have
any effect, neither on the TV, nor on the --get-standard output.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
