I believe most of the error "ENC DMA ERROR" have gone away however with the driver sometimes it would not start the stream so my mythtv recordings would all have a zero byte file after this started till I noticed the problem and restarted the driver (modprobe -r ivtv && modprobe ivtv) as a result I went back to using PIO mode (search the archives) and this has been mostly trouble free. Well except for the other night when I was experimenting on recording football games with a higher max bitrate and 3/4 through the recording the output stopped. I did not notice this and missed a show from the next day as somehow it had mythbackend stuck although ivtv was working fine...
