Sorry for the lack of information in my original post. I am using YUM and installing from the ATRPMS repository.
I ran the depmod, because the instructions I was following instructed me to. Does running depmod create a problem, or is it just unnecessary? I am running a stock Fedora 8 kernel, no special compiling or such has been done on this machine. I hope this helps clarify things... This box is a MythTV setup and I have been following the instructions at: http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php On Tue, May 27, 2008 at 5:00 AM, <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > ------------------------------ > > Message: 3 > Date: Mon, 26 May 2008 17:07:28 -0400 > From: Sam Varshavchik <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Re: [ivtv-users] IVTV install problem > To: User discussion about IVTV <[email protected]> > Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset="utf-8" > > Brett Williams writes: > > > I am trying to install a PVR-350 on a FC8 box.?
