Did you load the proper versions of tveeprom and msp3400?
I hade to fix them by using:
alias tveeprom tveeprom-ivtv
alias msp3400 msp3400-ivtv
The error is a normally associated with using the wrong version of
tveeprom as I recall from the MythTV mailinglist.
