After nearly three weeks of absence, I wanted to share my impression
about
the project.
When reading the mailing list I have been impressed by the fact that the
community seems to grow. I have seen new folk commenting the code, new
folk
raising questions (seemingly new users), and also new folk giving
valuable
answers. And also plenty of mails in 3 weeks!
Indeed, having a look at the archive, we have had 200+ mails on the user
list in less than 3 weeks, and we are in july, which is not a month where
there is usually the greater activity. Moreover we still do not have a
final
version released at Apache, and are still incubating. This is very
encouraging to continue to do our best as a community to deliver a rock
solid and flexible solution to dependency management.
So, I think we are on the good way ;-)
+1 :-)
