Hi, I assume this is about your proposal to "implement a parser and
evaluator for Schema Component Designators (SCD)" for Google Summer of Code
(GSoC) [1].

I believe Khaled may have been asking you to write a small program which
demonstrates how to load and traverse an XSModel using Xerces' XML Schema
API. If so I think it would be good enough if you printed out the types of
the components (e.g. element declaration, type definition, etc...) and
their names and namespaces if they have one.

Projects here at Apache (and I assume at other organizations) are in final
stages of ranking proposals and according to Google's timeline [2] this
must be complete by April 15th. So if you're interested in the Schema
Component Designators (SCD) project it would be good if you could provide
the program as soon as possible and answer any other questions Khaled may
have had about aspects of your proposal. This would help us better evaluate
your application.

Thanks.
