Hello, I'm a Computer Science and Engineering student from University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and interested in the GSoC ideas on Asynchronous LSParsers and implementing a parser and evaluator for Schema Component Designators. I'm not very much familiar with Xerces or SCDs yet, so I'm in the process of getting familiarized with them. I see the same ideas in last year's GSoC idea list too, so has there been any effort to implement them already?
In addition to that, has there been initiatives to make Xerces support DSD 2.0 spec [1]? (or does Xerces already support it?) I'm not very much aware of its significance to Xerces at the moment as it's not very popular yet. There was an effort by me and some of the colleagues to write a DSD processor few months ago (however its development has been stagnated during last couple of months as we were working on some other projects) so I'd like to contribute to such a project in Xerces too, as I'm already quite familiar with the spec.
