Resolution: Not A Problem
perhaps the submitter of the issue is using the published schema 1.1 beta. the
latest code case in SVN produces following error for the use case posted,
e-props-correct.7: Type alternative 'string' is not xs:error or is not validly
derived from the type definition, '#AnonType_root', of element 'root'.
which is what the submitter of issue wants.
