@Michael -- I think part of the confusion stems from that fact that the
deployment to Maven Central needs to be done during the "official build", i.e.
when the binaries that are distributed to mirrors are built. Can you shed some
light on how the official build process works for Xerces? I don't see a
section about continuous integration (Jenkins, Bamboo, etc.) in the
documentation, so I assume this process amounts to someone (you?) running the
build script on a local machine, then uploading the binaries to various places,
is that correct? Is there documentation that I've overlooked?
Lots of people could help with generating the Maven POMs, etc., but in the end,
this will require that the "build machine" has Maven setup properly.
