If you watch the commits list you'll have noticed that there's been an increase in the amount SPAM getting posted to our Wiki. Other Apache projects are suffering lately too. Alberto and I have been cleaning it up, but I'm getting tired of seeing it (almost) every day. :-) The solution projects appear to be using to fight this is to set up an AdminGroup [1]. This means only a trusted group can post to the Wiki, rather than having it wide open like it's historically been. We can grant access to people who ask for it, so this isn't going to block legitimate folks from being able to post content.
