Hi Klaus, Xerces-J does this for an entire XSD grammar. Xerces's XSD document parser implements Document interface, and also adds quite a bit of functionality over it which is XSD specific.

If your work related to this question, applies to Xerces's XSD validator then you need to look at the existing design and work with it. If its something else, then it may be out of scope for this list.
