Hi,
Something needs to be done in this regard because if you do not update the
default XPath library it means that you will not fully support the XML Schema
1.1 specification and users who have XML tag names which are not based on ASCII
characters will not be able to write assertions for them.
Maybe you could take the Java sources of 2.1.2 and see if you can compile them
with the Java 1.4 compiler.
