Nine years after the original report and seven years since a patch was
supplied, and this is still not applied to the source tree.
Attached is a Thomas Krammer's patch, as modified by Radu Coravu and further
adjusted to apply cleanly to r1813171. The latest production release before
this was 2.11.0. I have verified this patch (still) fixes the described problem.
