Browsing at artifact folder, all previous releases are available
:[https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/xerces/xercesImpl/](https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/xerces/xercesImpl/).
The `maven-metadata.xml` indicates that if you look for a release but don't
know the version, the best you can choose is `2.12.1`, but other releases are
still available.
So, program that depends on previous release of xerces will still continue to
build correctly.
It's been a long and difficult task to make people accept that xerces should be
deployed on Maven Central, but thanks to you, [~apupier], you did it !
[~apupier]: you are right, xerces with xsd 1.1 support is not published. This
may be by using a different classifier, `xsd-one-one-support` for example
