Michele Locati commented on XERCESJ-1788:
-----------------------------------------
Not having Xerces-J with XSD 1.1 support published on Maven is the main reason
why tools like VS Code don't support XSD 1.1.
Also, provided that XSD 1.1 support is an opt-in feature (even in the
{{xml-schema-1.1-dev branch}}), I'm wondering why XSD 1.1 support isn't merged
in the {{main}} branch...
> Provide XSD 1.1 distribution via maven

> Key: XERCESJ-1788

> Project: Xerces2-J
> Issue Type: Wish
> Components: XML Schema 1.1 Datatypes, XML Schema 1.1 Structures
> Affects Versions: 2.12.2
> Reporter: Marco Bungart
> Priority: Major
>
> As of now, XSD 1.1 distirbutions are available via
> [https://xerces.apache.org/mirrors.cgi#binary,] but not via maven. Thus, it
> is not possible to use XSD 1.1 validations when relying on maven
> distributions.
> It would be nice to have the XSD 1.1 distributions available via maven.
