Hi Gary,

Thanks for this! I notice the 2.7.3 xalan and serializer poms on maven 
central list no dependencies while the xalan 2.7.2 pom lists xercesImpl 
and xalan:serializer, and the 2.7.2 serializer pom lists xercesImpl, and 
xml-apis as dependencies. Are these changes intentional and desired?
