*Job Title: Oracle* *DBA*** *Location: *Lawrence, KS** *Rate: *DOE** *Type: *Contract Jobs (Temp/Consulting)** * * *Job Description:* Provide support services for Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS), specifically Oracle Database, and related utilities and tools. Application Support Services for Projects: · Oracle Database and Application Design and Usage Consultation (including preparation of Basis of Estimates and participation in project team meetings) · Application Oracle DBA Work · Data Loads Change and Configuration Management: · Application Storage Allocation · Creation of database internal data structures · Migration of Databases into Production · Sizing of Databases, Tablespaces, Segments and Partitions Security/System Administration Monitoring/Tuning for Performance and Availability Backup and Recovery Services Definition and Documentation of Standards/Processes Required Skills: · Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS or equivalent work experience required. · Minimum 3 years Oracle DBA experience required (5 years preferred). · Experience supporting complex database server environments strongly preferred, including: · Clustering technologies (Veritas, Oracle RAC, MS Cluster Server, etc.) · Database replication (Hot Standby, Dataguard, SQL Server log shipping, etc.) · centralized backup/recovery methodologies (TSM, Veritas, BMC SQLBacktrack) · interfaces with centralized monitoring systems (Sitescope, OVO) performance monitoring/tuning · Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. *Click here to apply for this job*<http://jobsbridge.com/JobSearch/View.aspx?JobId=7245> ** --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "J2EE_J2EE" group.
