Primary responsibilities include the analysis, design, development, and support of client/server business applications. The Client Server Developer will specifically assist in developing systems and specifications including requirements, designing, programming, documentation, test, conversion, and implementation. Responsibilities include: Assist in developing systems and specifications including requirements, designing, programming, documentation, testing, conversion and implementation. Design and document technical solutions to specific business requirements. Collaborate with team members on common coding conversion, development processes, toolsets and user interface conventions. Provide production support on business applications. *Required Skills/Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree required with a major in a computer-based discipline is preferred. *Ten plus years experience with PowerBuilder* and SQL development tools and methodologies. Deep understanding of and appreciation for excellent graphical user interfaces. Ability to identify limitations and trade-offs of various technical and user interface designs. Ability to rapidly acquire new skills and competencies. Ability to manage client expectations and work effectively with all personnel within the business. Understanding and ability to create well-structured systems. Five plus years experience building and tuning SQL queries on Oracle or *MS SQLServer.* *Five plus years experience designing* and implementing applications in a multi-user, high-volume client/server environment Experience in technologies that tie together disparate platforms including web services.
