*This is a systems/production support DBA role. This is NOT a database developer*. *The person will be responsible for patching, installs, security changes, backup, recovery, and other typical systems administration duties for the Teradata environment.* *Key skill set is Teradata administration. Must have at least 2-3 years.* Should also have experience with NetBackup or other similar backup tool. *General Job Description * • System Database administrator for the Teradata platform • Partners with vendors and internal customers to implement technology solution and business projects. • Accountable for meeting or exceeding the Availability SLA for the platform • Backup and Disaster recovery service for the platform • Monitors service level agreements to maximize value and satisfaction of our customers. • Accountable for meeting security policies and guidelines, comply with audit requirements, project delivery and patching. • Participation in on-call rotation which includes weekends.
