Role : QTP- Automation Tester Location : Chicago Rate : $45/hr Duration : Long *phone interview first, then F2F (MUST)* Job Description *** Work with Project, Programming, and QA managers to define and review test plans *** Design test plans and cases to comprehensively and efficiently test conformance to business and technical specifications and IT standards ** *Identify functional requirements that can be automated. Create an Automation Test Plan. Covert existing functional test cases into automated test scripts. ** *Test script should follow an automation framework based on the QA's scripting or coding standards. *** Create and maintain test data and environment required for executing test plans and cases *** Document and communicate test results and metrics *** Track defect status, work with developers to reproduce and resolve defects, and execute re-tests and regression testing *** Develop and implement Quality assurance standards and processes Coach test teams and associates on QA processes and tools Other duties as assigned Requirements ** *5+ years of IT Quality Assurance experience, including full system lifecycle (unit, integration, system, performance, regression testing) ** *Experience with Waterfall and Agile development methodologies ** *Proficient in QTP as the primary automation test tool.
