· Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Business Analyst, preferably on Web-based projects · Minimum 7 years in the industry · Minimum 2 years team lead experience · Strong communication skills (written and verbal) · Strong background in Business requirements/agile story writing · Understanding of both waterfall and agile development · Considerable understanding of basic SDLC · Be able to facilitate a meeting of 10 or more people · Excellent requirements gathering, analysis and solutioning skills Desired Skills: • Must be self-motivated with excellent organizational skills • Be able to handle multiple assignments • Must be able to lead teams and effectively interact with all levels of management • Design knowledge a plus • Proven track record in meeting deadlines • Proficiency in Excel, Visio and PowerPoint • Experience with change control analysis • Good understanding of project management methodologies • Ability to work in teams • Analyst certification is a plus but not required Responsibilities · A business analyst works as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems. · The business analyst understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. · Responsible for the analysis and research of specific business functions with the ability to create effective solutions. · Day to Day ownership of requirements delivery based on business needs and project timelines. • Will prepare status and management reporting as required.
