# .Net Developer

1 year contract

Mid to Senior Level C#.Net Developer as part of the Web Services Team to
independently design, code, and test web-based applications. This position
is for a .NET Developer with strong C# skills that has the experience and
desire to work with clients to build business solutions and develop
projects through their entire life cycle. This role reports to the Web
Applications Supervisor and collaborates with other Web Services
developers. . The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that the
completed web applications are user friendly have a consistent look and
feel and are compatible with other applications. The application must
function on a variety of devices for Web Services' client. Prefer local
candidates.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:

Technical Skills: Proven experience in the following: ASP.NET(C#), .NET 4.0
or greater is preferred Experience in the development and support of
SharePoint solutions, web parts, web services, and work flows using
industry best practices is a plus but not required. Strong understanding of
SQL and relational database technologies such as MS SQL Server, including
database design, T-SQL, and stored procedures, etc Proficiency using Visual
Studio 2010/2012 and a Source Control Solution like Visual SourceSafe or
Team Foundation Server Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting
Windows/IIS platform experience is required Strong exposure to object
oriented design and development is required Experience with any of the
following is a plus: o MVC3 or greater web application is a plus. o BizTalk
and/or InRule o Community based .NET frameworks like nLog, log4net, nunit,
etc

Communication Skills: Self-motivated and self-driven is a must with the
ability to work with limited supervision Strong communication skills, both
written and verbal Able to lead and motivate others to accomplish a common
goal Experience working directly with clients is a plus

Responsibilities: Consult with project manager and help define business
requirement for new applications Create milestones and project time line
estimates Design, code and test new Windows and web software applications.
Must be able to lead an application from conception through the entire
Development Lifecycle. Maintain existing software systems by identifying
and correcting software defects.
