Job Description:
Rate: Open but keep the margins low
- Overall 15 years’ Experience including at least 5 years into Big Data
Implementations
§ Minimum 6 years’ experience as a software architect, providing technical
leadership/guidance/mentorship
§ Hands on experience on full life cycle implementation using HDP
(Hartonworks Data Platform) Platform
- *Data workflow, lifecycle and Governance tools:* Flume, Kafka, Sqoop,
NFS & WebHDFS
- *Data Access tools:* Pig, Hive, Hcatalog, HBase, Storm & Spark
- *Well versed on YARN and HDFS*
- *Expertise on HDP Operation Tools: Ambari, Zookeeper & Oozie*
- *Security implementation on HDP platform*
- Proven Infrastructure experience on HDP Platform setup and capacity
planning
§ 4+ years’ experience in advanced analytics and demonstrated skills in
Tableau, Spotfire, SPSS, SAS, Matlab
§ 6+ years’ experience and demonstrated skills in the Microsoft SQL Server
2008/2012 suite including:
o SQL Server Relational Database Management System
o T-SQL development skills
o SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS)
o SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
§ Extensive, real-world experience designing enterprise software and
defining solution architectures and technology (UML, design patterns, SOA,
EAI, BPI, etc. )
§ Familiar with architecture principles and frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman,
Gartner, DOD etc.)
§ Software prototyping experience
§ Preferred experience in any of the following: statistics and statistical
modeling, operations research, linear regression, optimization, exploratory
data mining and data visualization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent oral
and written communication skills
§ Preferred to have Certification on Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert:
Business intelligence and TOGAF 9
§ Excellent Communication, Documentation and Presentation skills
