sasl handshake failed: SASL(-13): authentication failure: required
parameters missing
I am trying to setup a new server to upgrade Jabber to 2.1.6.
Using MySql storage and LDAP (AD) authentication as is how we are doing
now.
New RHEL install + new MySql.
configure + make + make install didn't appear to have any errors, and
jabberd starts fine though when I attempt a user install I get the above
error message. Note: the reason I configured with cyrus sasl is because I
couldn't get it to configure correctly with GnuSASL even though it
appeared to be installed correctly (but that is another storey). Any ideas
where I can look to fix this error?
